Built in 1907, the Swiss Q Ambassador Hotel boasts a grand and ornate brown stone façade, adorned with lots of beaux arts-style carvings, which is in stark contrast to its minimalist modern interior. Though small, the lobby is bright and welcoming and leads onto a comfortable lounge. The 45 high-ceilinged guestrooms - all renovated in 2002 - are spread over 5 floors and elegantly appointed. In the hotel’s "à l’Opéra" restaurant and bar you can enjoy the world of the Opera and let yourself be inspired by the motifs adorning the walls and ceiling created by the young surrealistic baroque artist Tatjana Tiziana. Its cuisine includes fish specialities, as well as market-fresh Swiss and international cuisine.
