The Bellerive Au Lac Hotel is a traditional property, though hardly eye-catching. One half of the ground floor level is actually a high-class car showroom, whilst the other half belongs to the hotel. The small lobby is reached via a discreet entrance. It has beautiful green marble walls and floors and a modern wood reception desk. The 51 guestrooms are inspiringly simple, using mostly organic materials to create a calm, comfortable environment in which to sleep, relax, or work. The bathrooms are also lovely, and it goes without saying that both guestrooms and bathrooms are in exceptional condition. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor and commands beautiful views over the lake.
