The hotel is a modern, unremarkable property, built in the style of a low-rise office block. The medium sized lobby has recently been renovated in a traditional style, with beige/off-white marble flooring, green rugs, red chairs and a wood panelled reception area. The 151 spacious guest rooms are beautifully decorated using highest quality materials, which combine modern practicality with a traditional Swiss rustic style. Both they and the charming en suite bathrooms are in exceptional condition. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the first floor. The Bel Etage restaurant and piano bar are situated on the ground floor. They are appointed in the traditional Swiss chalet style, with heavy ornate wooden furnishings and open log fires. The restaurant serves French/European specialities as well as seasonal dishes, while the bar offers a wide range of fine wines and fancy cocktails. Alternatively, Luo’s serves finest Chinese cuisine and is probably the best Chinese restaurant in town. Formerly known as the Sofitel hotel.
