The Goldenes Schwert Residence offers apartment and budget accommodation close to the main Goldenes Schwert Hotel, a gay-friendly property, run by gay owners. It shares its premises with T&M Club, the oldest gay nightspot in Zurich, which is open until the small hours and can be a little noisy. The lobby is small and decorated in a modern style. Apartments come with standard furnishings, their own shower and sink, and a shared toilet. The Residence does not offer breakfast, but there are plenty of dining options nearby. Also the main hotel's bar, "Pigalle", serves drinks and snacks and features a mosaic wall depicting scenes of Parisian life. During summer guests can relax in the beer garden with a drink or snack.
