The hotel is located in the heart of Zurich's old town, the Niederdorf, on either side of a narrow alleyway. The area is pedestrianised, but can be a little noisy at weekends, as this area houses some of the city's most vibrant nightlife.

The Rossli Hotel is an ultra-small but friendly property, housed in two buildings. The main one - an historic townhouse - is older than the other, but both blend comfortably into this historic part of town. The lobby is small but modern, with chic white-on-white décor, which mixes stone and wood textures with bold textiles and mosaic tiles. The 18 cosy guestrooms are decorated in a similarly fresh, modern style. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the first floor of the main building. Modern art (for sale) hangs on the walls here and on the tiny stairwell which leads to it.
