The Sternen Oerlikon Hotel is a traditional townhouse with a pale pink facade. Huge floor to ceiling windows make the lobby an extremely light area. This impression is reinforced by the polished stone floor, pale wood fittings and brightly coloured leather furniture. The 47 medium sized guestrooms feature simple, modern decor and light oak furnishings. All are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The restaurant, located on the first floor, is extremely spacious with a high ceiling and a massive stained glass window at one end. Serving both traditional Swiss or Italian cuisine, it really comes as a pleasant surprise given the more modest appearance of the building from the street.
