The stone facade of the Schweizerhof Hotel is solid but elegant, as is much of Zurich's traditional architecture. The small lobby is grandly appointed, with a polished marble floor, chandeliers and a small seating area composed of comfortable leather sofas. Featuring traditional décor and furnishings, the 115 medium sized guestrooms are in exceptional condition, having been comprehensively renovated using nothing but the finest materials. The hotel offers three dining options. "La Soupière", located on the first floor overlooking Bahnhofplatz, is a French restaurant serving fresh seafood and other specialities from the regional kitchen. "Café Gourmet" offers caviar and other delicacies, such as exotic salads, all ready to eat for the gourmet in a hurry. And the "Schweizerhof Bar" will tempt you with a huge variety of famous whiskies, champagnes and refreshing cocktails.
